In a post on Instagram, Gov Sanwo Olu says, “Lagos salutes your courage and commitment. Your dedication to making a difference both in and out of the water is truly inspiring.”
The man, Akinrodoye Dare, who is also a swimming coach, completed the remarkable event in 2hrs 34 mins, making him the first man to ever do this.
